GameTrack.golf ("GameTrack," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Brian Fuller. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the GameTrack.golf mobile application and website.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. You may optionally provide a profile photo and display name.

Golf Data: We collect information you provide about your golf activities, including scores, event participation, group memberships, messages, and tee time registrations.

Location Data: With your permission, we may collect your approximate location to help you discover nearby golf groups, events, and courses. You can deny location permission and still use the app — location-based discovery features will be unavailable.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the app, including crash reports, performance data, and general usage patterns. This helps us fix bugs and improve the experience.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility purposes.

Payment Information: When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe (for web purchases) or Apple/Google (for in-app purchases). We do not store your credit card number, bank account, or payment credentials. We receive and store your subscription status, plan type, and transaction identifiers to manage your account.

To facilitate golf events, groups, scoring, and communication between users
To show you relevant nearby groups and events (with your location permission)
To analyze usage patterns and fix bugs
To send you notifications about events, tee times, and messages (with your permission)

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. We use Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access data they are authorized to see. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

With other users: Your display name, profile photo, scores, and group/event participation are visible to other users as part of the app's social features. You control what you share through your privacy settings.
Service providers: We use the following third-party services to operate GameTrack:
- Supabase — data storage, authentication, and real-time features
- Stripe — web payment processing (does not share payment details with us)
- Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchase processing
- Sentry — error tracking and crash reporting
- Resend — transactional email delivery (invitations, notifications)
- Netlify — web application hosting
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of GameTrack, our users, or others.

Your Rights

Access and export: You can export all your data from the app's Settings screen.
Correction: You can update your profile information at any time.
Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from the app's Settings screen. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Location permission: You can grant or revoke location access at any time through your device settings.
Notifications: You can manage notification preferences in the app's Settings.

Children's Privacy

GameTrack.golf is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of GameTrack after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
